Turnkey Forensic Pathology Laboratory Delivered to Middle East Government Client

Roundfin has completed a turnkey forensic lab project including dissection tables, grossing stations, and a 6-body refrigeration system — delivered with full commissioning validation and bilingual staff training.

We have handed over a fully equipped forensic pathology laboratory to a government agency in the Middle East, completed under a restricted tender that required pre-award factory audit and extensive technical compliance documentation.

The laboratory equipment package included four heavy-duty dissection tables with integrated downdraft ventilation (measured face velocity: 0.5 m/s), two grossing stations with HEPA-filtered airflow and touchscreen controls, a 6-body mortuary refrigeration system with individual chamber monitoring, plus body storage racks, transfer trolleys, and complete stainless steel work surfaces and wall cabinetry.

Four Roundfin engineers spent 10 working days on site for assembly, commissioning, and full validation testing: airflow face-velocity measurements at every table and station, temperature mapping across all refrigerator chambers, electrical safety certification, and surface hygiene swab testing. We then conducted a 5-day training program for 24 local pathologists, technicians, and facility engineers — training materials supplied in English and Arabic. A follow-on order for two additional dissection tables has since been received.
